I have made no secret of my addiction to Pinterest, honestly someone needs to start a intervention. When I am lost in my Pinterest fantasy of living in my dream house, crafting all the amazing crafts, cooking all the recipes while at the same time creating and pinning all of those funny e-cards. I will come across a Pin that makes me say: “hummm” there is no way that really works, lol.

Now some of you may think; geeshh, how could you not know that one. But like every thing in life. We all know nothing, until someone teaches us. For me, I blame my Mother, lol. My Mom was great, don’t get me wrong. But no one would have accused her of being a domestic goddess. She worked and did not enjoy cooking. So when I come across a Household tip or trick that makes my life easier I want to share.

Placing a Wood Spoon across the pot of boiling pasta really does keep the pot from boiling over! Really. I tired this on Spaghetti, Kraft Mac&Cheese Noodles, and Bowtie pasta. It worked for all of the ones I tired.  Now I am not claiming this is a life changing discovery but it certainly makes clean up easier. I am all for time saving and easy.
