I just love this idea! I saw this while going through my RSS feed this morning. Finally catching up on some of my favorite blogs. IHeartOrganizing has a great tutorial on this Chalk Board Repurposed Coffee Table. Great idea if you have little ones.

I’m thinking you could also add a bottom piece of wood and hinge the table top, to be able to put Lego’s or other small toys inside.
