Wreck-It Ralph Review

This past Thursday I was lucky enough to score a invite to a Pre-Screening of the new Disney Movie “Wreck-It Ralph”.
Now, to be honest. I had seen the preview a couple of times and at first glance this wasn’t a movie on my “must see” list. But, I am so glad I went!

Wreck-It Ralph is a bad guy in the Felix Fix It Jr video game. Ralph finds himself feeling left out and alone and makes the choice to no longer be a bad guy and feels if he proves himself a hero then others will see that he is more than just a bad guy. Ralph then “jumps” video games. Heading off on his journey to become a hero.

I loved the characters in this movie. Jane Lynch as the Sargent in Hero’s Duty, John C. Riley did a great job as the voice of Ralph. But what really caught my attention was the humor. Adults will enjoy Wreck-It Ralph as much as their kiddo’s.
The Kid’s for example won’t catch the humor in the character King Candy’s Do-nut henchmen being named Winchell and Duncan! There are so many moments like that in this film.

Move over Pixar……. cause Disney has stepped up its game with the Pix-elated animation. The graphics are really amazing. The 3D adds a level to this film that is sometimes hard to pull off in Movies. I mean almost every movie is being released in 3D these days and it usually seems pointless but I think it adds a element of fun here that you wouldn’t get from the 2D version.

Wreck-It Ralph comes out November 2! Check out the trailer above and add it to your “must see” movie list. You won’t be disappointed.
